God Friended ME

God friended me Premiere episode hit cbs.com on September 1st. I had a low expectation of this show success when I first saw the preview. Who can blame me after what happened in 2017. One of my greatest disappointments from that year what the treatment of shows that dealt with religion. Living biblically and Kevin Saves the World we're both great shows and I felt address some really great issues. Living biblically a sitcom open up your mind to embrace the Bible in today's world and they gave you a little more understanding and clarity about the Bible. I was very sad to see that didn't get picked up for season 2 or even pass the 13-episode mark. Kevin Saves the World gave you hope and you wanted to believe that there were still goodness in people. Therefore when both shows are cancelled it was definitely unfortunate. I was also a fan of the mayor a show that was also canceled in its premiere season of 2017, This show starred Brandon Micheal Hall.

My review of God forgive me:

Can you really say anything bad about a show that talks about God I guess you can fortunately for me I don't have to because this show was good. And I'm not just saying that because of Joe Morton's role in the show. He is amazing, great job to the casting director to snap him up after his role on Scandal his fan base is sure to be very large. The crossover may bring in a lot more viewers over to the show. Brandon also makes the role very believable and likeable which is what you really need in this character. Violett Beane, Javicia Leslie and Suraj Sharma also do a great job and support in the story and putting their own unique spend on that characters it makes watching the show enjoyable.

Overall looking at the premise of the show and what it means and I like it.

Notes to the fans

Give them some time to get the message to you. Every show cannot be about the drama or the excitement of murder hospitals or somebody cheating on somebody we need shows like this support goodness

Notes to the Creator and writers

give the fans something to really sink their teeth into. this is a new show and people may love the idea and may really want to see more of the show but the truth of the matter is life gets in the way and if we are not bombarded with reasons to come back to a show we may forget. And it ends up being January of 2019 and we look around and realize that CBS is now cancelled God friended me. but what can we really say we didn't look at it but it's not because we didn't like it it's because we forgot about it. So whose job is it to make sure that we don't forget that is the only way we can make sure that season 2 happens.

this could be a potential good show it needs a little more substance to draw the crowd and and get them hooked. But I know you can do it. Fingers crossed. We will be watching!
